Carol Jermyn BBLS Dip.TEP
Carol Jermyn is the founder and Principal of the firm. Carol qualified as a Solicitor in 2006.
Carol’s main areas of practise are estate planning, administration of estates and residential property. Carol has an extensive probate practise and advises clients on all aspects of the area, from estate planning through to the administration of wills.
Carol also has an extensive property practice. She advises clients in all matters pertaining to residential property, sales and purchases, letting agreements and landlord and tenant matters.
She advises families and individuals in respect of asset management and asset transfer by way of gift or inheritance.
Since qualification Carol has worked within a large team in one of Ireland’s top ten law firms from which she has gained extensive knowledge and expertise. She brings 11 years of this experience to Carol Jermyn & Co Solicitors.
Carol is a recognised expert in her field, and is a contributor to the Law Society and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Diploma Course. She regularly gives information sessions to large organisations such as Nursing Homes of Ireland, residential care units, hospitals, hospices and universities. She has written articles on matters of wills.
Carol also provides a consultation service to colleagues regarding probate and trust matters. She has extensive experience in providing advice to Professional Indemnity Insurers on property and probate claims.
Carol is the Diocesan Solicitor of the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross and advises the Diocese on matters pertaining to property, trusts and charities.
